A Sunny Start: Our First Fundraising Market Day

On 15 December 2024, our club kicked off its very first event at the bustling Helensville Santa Parade & Christmas Market! Despite the intense heat of the blazing summer sun, our team persevered through. Our stall was overflowing with a range of unique, handmade STEM products, showcasing creativity and passion. From festive 3D-printed light up stockings, to custom night lights and handmade flowers, there was something for everyone.

The highlight of the day undoubtedly came when Santa Claus himself made a surprise visit! Seeing the joy on everyone’s faces as they posed for pictures with the jolly old man was truly heartwarming.

This market day was more than just a sales event; it was a testament to our club’s dedication, teamwork, and community spirit. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us and we can’t wait to see what the future holds!
