School holidays are here, and it’s time to turn cleaning into an adventure!
Join us for a hands-on STEM workshop where we build a mini vacuum cleaner and discover the science of airflow and suction.
Building on Our Wind Series
In our June library workshop, we explored how wind can be both destructive (hurricanes and storms) and constructive (powering devices such as light bulbs).
This time, we will discover another fascinating property of moving air — it can not only push things away, but also pull them in!
Learn Through Building
As the fan spins, it creates airflow that pulls air through the intake holes, producing suction. This suction can pick up lightweight materials such as paper scraps, dust, and small debris, helping participants understand how real vacuum cleaners work.
